Extraordinary musicians from the Grand Rapids Symphony Orchestra collaborate in this rich and varied program with music spanning 300 years. Trio Soufflage performs an exciting and diverse program of works by Antonio Vivaldi to Heitor Villa-Lobos. This concert debuts CMN’s Village Series at the Mills Community House.

        Mendelssohn's Melancholy -Piano Trio & Soprano

Four of Michigan's most notable musicians collaborate in this classically beautiful program of early romantic composers.

Mendelssohn was declared to be a great musical child prodigy, “the Mozart of the nineteenth century, the most illuminating of musicians.” The powerful and eloquent Piano Trio No. 1 in D minor, Op. 49 completed in 1839 is recognized as one of his most popular and greatest chamber works.
